Rebecca Wang Continues Giving Spirit for EJAF’s Most Recent Fundraiser

The Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) hosted a private party at the Windsor home of Elton John and David Furnish to benefit AIDS programs for young people.

On June 23, the Elton John AIDS Foundation hosted a private fundraising dinner at the home of Elton John and David Furnish in Windsor to benefit their outreach programs geared towards young people in Africa. The invitation-only event, with an illustrious guest list including BVLGARI CEO Jean-Christophe Babin, actor Kevin Spacey, and fashion designer Valentino Garavani, raised funds to benefit children in Africa aged 10-19.

A shocking statistic reveals that AIDS is now the leading cause of death for this age group. As a huge demographic, this generation will have an immense impact on economics, society, and politics in Africa, and EJAF is dedicated to supporting them and ensuring that they are not exposed to HIV/AIDS. Rebecca Wang, who has been supporting with EJAF for years and received an exclusive invitation, will continue her patronage by supporting this event.

The intimate event took place at the private home of Elton John and David Furnish, a beautiful and elegant Queen Anne-style mansion which lies adjacent to the grounds of Windsor Castle. Hosted by David Williams, the event featured an auction of the works of Georg Baselitz, Romero Britto, and Luke Jerram, along with a beautiful necklace provided by BVLGARI, who generously underwrote the evening in support of the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Funds raised at this event will go to multiple programmes in order to provide appropriate medication to the most vulnerable populations in Africa.
